How does it work? Simply download the app from the App Store (Rink Mix), create your player list, and choose the voice that you want to use. By default Apple voice list may be a little bit robotic, but you can go into your phone settings and download "enhanced" voices to select. You can also select in the app the pitch or the speed of announcing the players. Simply play with it and find your best settings.

Players on the rink and on the bench
You will see here where the players will start the game. You can also start the default announcement from that page. You have access on the top right corner to the Player list management.
Players list management
Here you can register all your players' name and positions. You can also from game to game simply update if they are present or not. The application will take the first line of players on the ice and then either set the rest of the team on the bench or on their second and third lines. During the announcements, they will be listed by alphabetical order or by jersey number.
Announcement screen.
On the announcement screen you will see exactly what the voice will announce and in which order. This will allow you to correct the positions or the names. You can also select in which order you want to announce the team.
Configuration Screen
Here you can select the best voice. Make sure that you go to your iPhones Settings to download "enhanced" voices. It does give a way better sound. Go to your phone Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices to download more voices. Find \"Enhanced\" Voices like (exemple: English -> English (US) and Tom\'s Voices)
How to
This screen will show you a few tricks. It will show how you load more voices. It will allow you access the key equipment you may need to connect to the rink's audio system. You will also find the link to Rink Mix's little sister app where you will be able to manage your preferred playlist!
The key equipment to connect and play music
As each rink may have its own connection type, here are all the typical cables that will get you plug to pretty much any rink's audio system. I particularly like the BlueTooth extender wide range device. It will plug to the rink audio system and then from pretty much anywhere in the rink, I Will be able to pilot the announcements as well as with "Ice Hockey Dad's Playlist" app, manage my best playlist, penality annoucements as well as goals and assist. Check it on the AppStore (Ice Hockey Dad's Playlist).
