Core Features
Built for parents, coaches, and rink-side DJs who want to give their players the pro-arena welcome they deserve - without complexity.
Player Introductions
Every player deserves their moment. RinkMix announces each skater by name - just like in the NHL - as they step onto the ice. Build the lineup, hit play, and let the crowd energy do the rest.
Roster Management
Register all your players once - names, positions, jersey numbers. From game to game, simply toggle who's present. The app handles line assignments automatically so you can focus on coaching, not admin.
Live Announcements
When your player scores, RinkMix announces the goal and assist in real time. Select the players, tap announce, and let the app deliver the moment with the voice of a pro sports broadcaster.
Setup in Minutes
From download to first announcement in under five minutes. No equipment knowledge needed - just a cable or Bluetooth and your iPhone.
Get RinkMix free from the App Store. Works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.6 or later.
Add player names, positions, and jersey numbers once. Toggle who's playing before each game.
Plug into the arena's audio system via AUX, HDMI, or Bluetooth. A wireless extender lets you control from anywhere in the rink.
Hit announce and watch your players light up as their names echo through the arena. Celebrate every goal with a real NHL horn.
Goal Celebrations
When your team scores, the rink should know it. Choose from authentic goal horns, sirens, and sound effects - free, no subscription required.
All 32 NHL teams represented. Play the home horn of any franchise - including the Utah Mammoth - for genuine arena atmosphere.
Classic rink sirens, air horns, and crowd-roar effects. Trigger them instantly the moment the puck crosses the line.
The goal celebration screen is designed for cold hands and noisy rinks - large buttons, high contrast, zero fumbling.
Announcer Voices
RinkMix ships with Apple's built-in system voices - free, no network needed. Upgrade to AI-generated announcer voices for a natural, broadcast-quality sound that genuinely commands the room.
Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → Download "Enhanced" voices like Tom (US English)
Full Control
Dial in your perfect sound from the Settings screen. Choose voices, set pitch and speed, select your NHL team horn, and arrange how players are announced. Every preference is saved so setup takes seconds on game day.
Pricing
The core app is completely free. Optional subscriptions unlock AI voices and live game announcements for the full pro-arena experience.
Rinkside Setup
Every rink is different. RinkMix's How-To screen walks you through the right cable or wireless connection for your arena - AUX, HDMI, or Bluetooth extender.
The Bluetooth extender is a favorite: plug it into the rink's audio jack and control announcements from anywhere on the ice. No wires, no fumbling at the boards.
